6-months Visa to work in New Zealand - Opportunity Unlocked

New Zealand suffered some natural disasters between January and February 2023, and is now seeking for a quick recovery scheme for her economy. This has led to the opening up of some opportunities for immigrant workers to travel to the country and work in there.

NZ now has what they call the Recovery Visa.

The Recovery Visa (a Specific Purpose Work Visa) allows employers to sponsor experts such as engineers, technicians, and insurance assessors to come to New Zealand.

The visa is designed for temporary migrant workers who will be working in New Zealand for a maximum of six months. They will be employed in roles that contribute to the North Island's recovery from the severe weather events that occurred in January and February 2023. These roles may involve providing emergency assistance, conducting cleanup operations, assessing risks and losses, stabilizing and repairing infrastructure, buildings, and housing, as well as performing other tasks that directly support the recovery efforts, such as producing materials for road rebuild and transportation.
